Emotional Support

Staff can provide a listening ear for carers who are struggling emotionally; feeling isolated or are in need of support with their caring role.

During office hours, a Duty Worker is always available to call or pop in to see.

Carers can also get expert help, if needed from our Counselling Service.

Many Carers also find that joining one of our Support Groups for people in similar situations useful. In the Support Groups, carers can build a support network of fellow carers and learn through shared experiences. A member of staff is always involved in our Support Groups to ensure there is someone there to support you.
